Revenge & R-Bar are, first and foremost, safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community and their friends. Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism or prejudice of any kind are unacceptable. Any of the above will result in you being removed from the venue and barred. If you are not a regular customer, expect our security team to ask you if you know we are an LGBTQ+ venue. We reserve the right to refuse entry to larger groups, regardless of gender or sexuality, and all hen, hag, or stag parties are sadly no longer permitted.

LGBTQ Community Ticket - this ticket is for you if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community (it is also discounted.) Ally Ticket - This ticket is if you do not identify as LGBTQ+ but you are still supportive and respectful on the community, and Revenge as a safe space. The additional money per ticket will be donated directly to the Rainbow Fund, which distributes money to various LGBTQ+ causes both nationally and locally.

We have gender neutral toilets at R-Bar and Revenge, it's none of your business which toilet someone uses. It's never cool to question, assume or police someone else's gender. If someone disrespects this, or makes you feel uncomfortable, please speak to a member of staff.

We have roaming security throughout Revenge at all times, let them know if you need assistance. Look out for the pink hi-vis.

Out with someone you don't know very well who is making you uncomfortable? Ask for 'Angela' at the bar.

Please use our free drink toppers from the bar, and if you or someone else might have been spiked, let a member of staff know immediately.

Please do not touch anyone without their consent. This includes anyone attending our venues, as well as our drag hosts, performers and staff. Anyone not adhering to our policy will be asked to leave immediately, and if you experience anything that makes you feel uncomfortable please speak to a member of staff right away.

Our staff and security have recently been trained by The Egalitarian as part of their Safe Space Project, so that they can do their best to recognise potential safe guarding issues, corrrectly approach & handle sensitive situations in line with our core policies, and act as effective allies in these situations. We will be refreshing staff knowledge on the above, and have updated our procedure for handling discrimination or hate crimes. This is alongside multiple First Aid trained staff and Mental Health First Aiders.

We regularly provide different training sessions focusing on varying topics to our security team. The security industry is lacking in queer representation, which is something we are looking to challenge. We are willing to assist with costs associated with obtaining a SIA badge for LGBTQ+ people looking to work in security at Revenge. We have already assisted two LGBTQ+ people into the security industry this way.

We have hired a Trans Community Liason to work with us, and provide training to our team.

We strive to make our venues visibily LGBTQ+, with queer art, progress flags, murals and posters. We also highlight our Safe Space policies throughout both venues.

There are always ways to improve, and we welcome any feedback on your visits to Revenge. Will display QR codes in our venues that directly link to a feedback email, to make it easier to contact us directly.
